Homemade Pizza Recipe with Perfect Crust

  • 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Toppings of your choice (pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, peppers, etc.)
  • Cornmeal or flour for dusting
  • Preheat your oven to 450°F.
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface until it's about 1/4 inch thick. Transfer the dough to a lightly oiled pizza pan or baking sheet dusted with cornmeal.
  • Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving about 1/2 inch of crust around the edges.
