Chicken Fried Rice Recipe


  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 chicken breast, cut into small pieces
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 carrot, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of oil. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
  • Add another tablespoon of oil to the skillet and add the onion, garlic, and carrot. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  • Push the vegetables to the side of the skillet and add the beaten eggs to the other side. Scramble the eggs until they are fully cooked.
  • Add the frozen peas to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes until they are thawed.
  • Add the cooked rice and soy sauce to the skillet and stir everything together until the rice is heated through and evenly coated with the soy sauce.
  • Add the cooked chicken to the skillet and stir everything together. Cook for an additional minute or two until everything is heated through.
  • Season the fried rice with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
